SAG Week-15 Beta Test & WIP

This week I conducted interviews, here is the questionnaire link:

Response:

After I conducted interviews, the most shocking thing is I realized the differences screen the game scene environment will be different as well. So, after these interviews, I spent some time adjusting the brightness of the dark scene because some interviewees said that the scene is too bright, they don't even need to use the torchlight in the game. Besides, I also adjusted the durable of the battery, so the battery will not drain too fast.

And also, this week I change my outline package from Corgi Outline to Easy Performance Outline. This need to thanks for my lecturer to bought it for us. The reason why I changed to Easy Performance Outline is that the Corgi Outline has too many problems to use.

Easy Performance Outline Package:

In order to make the light more obvious and good-looking, I try to add fog. But most of the packages require money, and I can't find a good free package to use, so I only can use Volumetric Light Beam this package into the torchlight's spotlight. (It only can be used in spotlight and most of my game scene lights are using point lights). In addition, I realized it is hard to find a solution to create volumetric lighting effect in URP, there are more ways and options to do volumetric lighting effects in LWRP and HDRP

Volumetric Light Beam Package:

I also found that players failed once while playing, and most of them just gave up because there were no save points. The lecturer also pointed out this shortcoming, so I added two save points in the game.
